And also all participants who come from several school

Good afternoon,

First of all, let us thank to Allah swt. Because of the Mercy and Blessing we can be here in good day and in good condition.

Do not forget to deliver Shalawat and greet to the holy prophet Muhammad SAW. Who has brought us from the darkness era into the brightness era that we are living now.

Ladies and gentlemen

Let me introduce my self. I am Resty Wahyuni, from SMA Negeri 2 Bengkulu. In this moment, I would like tell you about my speech with the theme “Economic ASEAN Comunity” and with the title is  “The Role of Indonesia in AEC

Ladies and gentlemen,

Economic is a social science that is studied the human activities associated with the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services, as well as the study of how human meet their needs. In 2015, ASEAN formed a cooperation in the field of economic which is called as AEC. And, what is the AEC?

Ladies and gentlemen

AEC is the embodiment of one of the results of the 9th of the ASEAN Summit to achieve the ASEAN Vision 2020 in the economic field. AEC has several roles for its member, among others: as a foundation in making ASEAN as a single market and production center, creating a balanced economic growth, as well as integration into the global economy. AEC has a role to Indonesia, one of them is to help stabilizing the economy of Indonesia.

Ladies and gentlemen

Long behold, there existed RIA-FIN, before AEC. RIA-FIN is not too musch different with ACE. Yet, RIA-FIN did not run the job very well as expected, some people believed that it was because RIA-FIN made decision rapidly and yet it was not ready to run the program. Therefore too many risk were emerged towards RIA-FIN, and now the question is, will AEC do some improvement as a betterment for ASEAN or stay same like the previous one?

Ladies and gentlemen,

For me, AEC is not same like RIA-fin. Because AEC it self has a positive impact and bring a big opportunity for Indonesia and it will help to raise the economy of Indonesia. Because people of Indonesia are prosecuted to be able to compete with the ASEAN countries.

With the AEC, Indonesia is wished to be able to make the economy of nation to be better. One of examples is Indonesia can expanding the reach of exports and imports without any cost. The other positive impact is, the Indonesia worker can work in other ASEAN country easily, the investors will expand the invesment, entrepreneur will be more creative, workers will have good competitiveness, and many more.

Ladies and gentlemen,

The existence of AEC will be a beginning to develop the quality of economy in Southeast Asia for development of free markets in the end of 2015, especially for Indonesia . Put i like, yin and yang principles in china, if there is a good side , there will bad side that can be boomerang for Indonesia if not take chance well.

So, as the Indonesian, we can do several things for balancing the AEC. There are:

1.    Improve the quality of product, so we always had new innovation.

2.    Improve the profesionalsm, so it is not inferior to foreign workers.

3.    As the government, more priority to exports than imports

4.    As the student, we must have early prepared to compete in terms of knowledge and skills

I am sure all of us know fruit, right? Did you know to get better fruit the farmer must give best quality of fertilizer and pesticide to produce good quality of fruit. It is same like us, as an Indonesian, we must give our best quality, best quality of products, best quality of service. So, we can compete in AEC as good quality of fruit.

So, ladies and gentlemen, from now let us give our best, so that Indonesia will not only be a spectator in the event the AEC, but also we can be part to succeed in AEC. So, hopefully Indonesia can easily succes in AEC.

I think that’s all enough for my speech today. I hope my speech can be good for me and especially for all of you. Last I say, Stop talking, start working! Thanks for your attention.
